Our knowledge and understanding remains limited by the abilities of our brain: Perception by our sensory organs seeing, hearing, feeling and processing by thinking, sensing, remembering.
Beyond that we are not able to know anything, we can only believe. To be open means to know about the limit of knowledge and to open ourselves for what may come beyond that.
Very well defined Dear Peter ; I agree one must know the limits but also be open to explore beyond…
